This year’s massive participation underscores the league’s unmatched capability to bridge traditional collegiate rivalries under a single banner of sportsmanship and competitive excellence.

Chairman and President Dr. Ian Laurel addressed the roaring crowd, highlighting the core mission of the tournament to foster genuine camaraderie and elevated competition. “The Shakey’s Super League continues to break barriers by bringing together the finest UAAP and NCAA schools under one roof,” Dr. Laurel shared in his opening message. “This tournament is built on the spirit of unity, giving our student-athletes a grand platform to showcase their dedication, hard work, and love for the sport.”

Adding immense star power and inspiration to the ceremonies was SSL Ambassador Shaina Nitura, who fired up the assembly with her heartfelt message to her fellow student-athletes. “Sa bawat koponan at manlalaro na nandito ngayon, patunayan natin na ang volleyball ay nagkakaisa sa ating lahat,” Nitura expressed. “Magtulungan tayo, ibigay ang ating pinakamahusay sa bawat laro, at ipakita natin ang pusong palaban na nagbibigay-dangal sa ating kani-kaniyang mga eskwelahan.”
