MAS palalakasin pa ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang kakayahan nito sa pagtugon sa mga emergency sa pamamagitan ng pagdaragdag ng mga police motorcycle na susuporta sa serbisyo ng 911 emergency hotline sa buong Metro Manila.
Sinabi ni NCRPO OIC Police Brig. General Christopher Abrahano malaking tulong ang suporta ni Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla at PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. sa pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng NCRPO na tumugon sa mga emergency call at makapagbigay ng mas mabilis na serbisyo sa publiko.
“We are grateful for the support of Secretary Jonvic Remulla and our PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., Their support is crucial in strengthening our capability to provide faster and more responsive police services to the people of Metro Manila,” ani PBGen. Abrahano.
Ayon kay NCRPO Chief, malaking tulong ang karagdagang mga motorsiklo para mapabilis na makarating ang mga police responder sa lugar ng insidente, partikular sa mga lugar na matindi ang trapiko at siksikan sa kalsada na posibleng makapagpabagal sa pagresponde ng mga patrol vehicle.
“Every second matters during an emergency. These additional motorcycles will give our responders greater mobility and allow them to reach people in distress as quickly as possible,” pahayag ni PBGen. Abrahano .
Malaking tulong ang mga motorsiklo bilang karagdagan sa kasalukuyang police response vehicles at personnel, partikular sa pagtugon sa mga agarang tawag na natatanggap sa pamamagitan ng 911 emergency hotline.
“ When the public calls 911, we want our response to be fast, coordinated, and reliable. These motorcycles will help us navigate traffic and bring police assistance closer to the community,” ani Abrahano.
Inatasan din ni PBGen. Abrahano ang mga police commander na tiyaking maayos ang deployment ng mga motorcycle responder sa mga strategic area at palaging handang tumugon sa mga emergency call.
“This is not simply about adding motorcycles. It is about improving our entire response system—from receiving the call, dispatching the nearest available unit, and getting our personnel to the scene safely and immediately,” ani BGen. Abrahano.
Pinaalalahanan muli ng NCRPO ang publiko na gamitin nang responsable ang 911 emergency hotline at magbigay ng tama at kumpletong impormasyon, kabilang ang eksaktong lokasyon at uri ng emergency, upang makatulong sa agarang pagresponde ng mga awtoridad.
