Joint School Safety Task Force, NCRPO tutulong

SUPORTADO ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang pagbuo ng isang Joint School Safety Task Force na magsasagawa ng mga security audit sa kondisyon at pangangailangan ng mga pampublikong paaralan sa buong bansa.
Ayon kay NCRPO PBrig.General Christopher Abrahano, mahalaga ang localized security at threat assessment dahil magkakaiba ang sitwasyon, kahinaan at security concerns ng bawat paaralan.
“We support the conduct of localized and site-specific security assessments of schools in the National Capital Region.
Each school has its own circumstances, and our security measures must be responsive to the actual conditions on the ground,” ayon kay PBrig Gen. Abrahano .
Sinabi ni B/Gen.Abrahano na aatasan niya ang mga district commander sa Metro Manila na masusing makipag-ugnayan sa Department of Education-NCR, mga school administrator at local government units para sa seguridad ng mga paaralan, matukoy ang mga posibleng kahinaan at mapalakas ang mga hakbang para maiwasan ang karahasan.
Kabilang sa mga ipatutupad na hakbang ang pagsasagawa ng school-specific threat at security assessment.
Pagpapalakas ng police visibility sa mga kritikal na oras ng pasok at uwian.
Pagsusuri sa emergency at rapid-response arrangements.
Pagtatatag ng direktang communication channels sa mga school official.
Pagpapalakas ng threat monitoring at agarang pagrereport sa mga otoridad
At pagtukoy sa mga epektibong pamamaraan na maaaring ipatupad sa iba pang paaralan sa Metro Manila.
“We want every assessment to answer a simple question: What does this particular school need to become safer, and what can the police and our partner agencies do about it?” sinabi ni PBGen. Abrahano .
“The safety of our students is a shared responsibility. NCRPO is ready to work with DepEd, local governments, school authorities, parents and our communities to prevent threats before they escalate and to ensure that every learner in Metro Manila can go to school in a safe and secure environment,” sabi pa ng opisyal.
Ang inisyatibong ito ng NCRPO ay alinsunod sa nauna nang panawagan ni PNP Chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. para sa mas mahigpit na seguridad sa mga paaralan.
Sinusuportahan din ni PBGen. Abrahano ang pahayag ni General Nartatez na maaaring pag-aralan at iangkop ng PNP ang mga best practices mula sa mga kalapit na bansa sa pagtugon sa karahasan at iba pang banta laban sa mga paaralan at estudyante.
“We are open to learning from effective practices elsewhere, particularly those that adapt to our laws and the realities of our communities. Our priority is prevention—identifying risks early, strengthening coordination, and ensuring that police and other responders are prepared when our students need protection,” ani Brig.Gen.Abrahano.
