Zaldy Co naiulat na nasa Paris – DFA chief

Inihayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang impormasyon mula sa umano’y isang mapagkakatiwalaang diplomatic source na nasa Paris si dating Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Zaldy Co.
Ayon kay DFA Secretary Maria Theresa Lazaro, mahigpit na mino-monitor ng Philippine Embassy sa France ang naturang impormasyon.
“The information that he is in Paris came from a highly regarded diplomatic source, which I cannot reveal because it was said to us in confidence,” ani Lazaro.
“However, the embassy now is really looking intently on that,” dagdag pa niya.
Una nang inihayag ng Malacañang na posibleng humihingi si Co ng asylum sa France.
Matatandaang may arrest warrant laban kay Co kaugnay ng umano’y anomalya sa flood control projects.
