CSC awardees may libreng check-up, scholarship

Isang taon na libreng check-up at scholarship ang ibibigay ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) sa mga Gawad Lingkod Bayani national awardee.
Ito ang inanunsyo ng CSC nitong Lunes, Abril 6, 2026 kasabay ng pagsisimula ng patanggap ng nominasyon para sa Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo, Gawad Dangal ng Bayan at Gawad Pagasa noong nakaraang buwan.
“Under the incentives package, awardees may avail of free executive check-ups within one (1) year from the conferment of their award,” ayon sa nasabing komisyon kaya muling nirenew ng komisyon ang kanilang Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) Philippine General Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, at Lung Center of the Philippines.
Nakipagkasundo din ang CSC para sa nasabing programa sa mga iba’t ibang hospital tulad ng
Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center sa Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR), Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center sa Region 1; Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital; Western Visayas State University Medical Center at Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital sa Region VI at Cotabato Regional Medical Center sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“In addition to medical benefits, the program reinforces its commitment to lifelong learning. Awardees—or their designated and qualified beneficiary (spouse, child, parent, or sibling)—may avail of scholarship opportunities within five (5) years from the conferment of their award,” ayon pa sa CSC.
Kabilang sa mga paaralan kung saan puwedeng mag-aral ng libre ang mga awardees ay ang
Philippine Normal University (PNU), University of the Philippines (UP) at Mariano Marcos State University.
“These expanded partnerships underscore the program’s commitment to making benefits more accessible, inclusive, and regionally available—enabling awardees to access health services or pursue educational advancement within or closer to their home regions,” ayon pa sa CSC.
Umapela din ang komisyon sa mga medical at academic institution sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa na maging bukas sa partnership upang mas mapabilis na makuha ng mga awardees ang kanilang mga insentibo.
