Total ban sa celfon sa mga iskul ipinatupad sa Dumanjug, Cebu

Kukumpiskahin ang cellphone ng mga estudyante sa Dumanjug, Cebu kung dadalhin nila ito sa kanilang mga paaralan, simula nitong Lunes, Hunyo 29, 2026.
Sa social media post, ipinanawagan ni Mayor Efren “Gungun” Gica ang “total ban” ng mga cellphone sa paaralan.
“There are no phones allowed in school. Starting Monday, if a student brings a phone, it will be confiscated and only returned at the end of the school year. If you do not wish to follow this policy, you have the option to transfer your children to another municipality,” ani Gica.
“We want our kids to read, study, and interact with their classmates.”
“At home, we expect parents to talk to their children, follow up on what they learned in school, and encourage healthy relationships between siblings and parents,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon sa Public Information Office ng naturang bayan, ang mobile phone ban ang isa sa kanilang safety mwasures na ipinatutupad sa mga paaralan.
Kasama ito sa mahigpit na seguridad sa pagpasok ng mga estudyante at guro sa mga paaralan, pagbabawal sa mga patalim at armas, at pagbabawal ng mga cellphone.
