Aarestuhin si Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa kapag sinubukan nitong lumabas ng Pilipinas, ayon kay Department of Justice (DOJ) Acting Secretary Fredderick Vida.
Ayon kay Vida, nagpalabas na siya ng Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) laban kay Dela Rosa dahil sa kinakaharap nitong arrest warrant mula sa International Criminal Court (ICC).
“I’ve issued an ILBO already for him. We’ve sent notices to our border control authority, basically,” pahayag ni Vida sa isang press briefing noong Biyernes.
Aniya pa, ipinag-utos na niya sa mga law enforcement agents na arestuhin si Bato sakaling subukan nitong lumabas ng Pilipinas.
“I am giving specific orders to law enforcement agents, to our border control authority, that if Senator Bato Dela Rosa would try to leave the country that the appropriate arrest should be made,” ani Vida.
Kinumpirma din ni Vida na valid ang ICC arrest warrant laban kay Dela Rosa.
“I do confirm that there is a valid ICC arrest warrant,” aniya. “And the pending request from the ICC to serve the same has been duly received by the Philippines.”
Si Bato ay tinukoy bilang co-perpetrator sa kasong crimes against humanity na isinampa sa ICC.
