Imelda Schweighart inamin na buntis nang lumaban sa MGI All Stars

Inamin ng beauty queen na si Imelda Schweighart na buntis siya nang sumabak sa Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars pero nakunan matapos ang kompetisyon.
Sa kanyang Facebook page noong June 3, nag-post si Imelda ng appreciation sa kanyang partner na si Rafael Thibault. Dito nabanggit ni Imelda na buntis siya habang lumalaban sa MGI All Stars.
“I know we’ll get this through. Losing our baby might have been the worse out of joining this competition but in God’s timing we will have one again,” ang bahagi ng mensahe ni Imelda na nakaagaw ng pansin sa mga netizen.
Matapos makatanggap ng mga pamba-bash, nagpost uli si Imelda at sinabing hindi naman nakalagay sa rules ng kompetisyon na bawal ang buntis.
“Wala po sa rules na bawal ang buntis,” ayon sa beauty queen. Nagpost pa ito ng kopya ng rules ng MGI All Stars.
“If we are truly in an era where a transgender woman can place as 2nd runner-up in MGI All Stars, that means we shouldn’t just use the word “motherhood” for clout. We need to actually accept its intricacies and its entire spectrum whether a mother is currently pregnant or not.”
Nilinaw din ni Imelda na hindi naman niya alam na buntis siya nang magdesisyon siyang sumali.
“My pregnancy test even came back negative, so I honestly thought my dizziness was just from the flights and my hectic schedule,” dagdag pa ng beauty queen. “I don’t want to keep talking about this, but sometimes you have to put a hard stop to people’s malice and ignorance.”
